i) Harold spent joyful days in his childhood. He can remember those days. (Join using an Adjective Clause)

ii) They had no penicillin in those days. Astri died of appendicitis. (Join using an Adverbial Clause)
Ans: Astri died of appendicitis as / because they had no penicillin in those days.
iii) Mortimer was eager to join the race. His father did not permit him to do so. (Join using a Concessive Clause)

iv) The coach said to Mohan, “Yesterday was a holiday.” (Change into Indirect Speech)
Ans: The coach told Mohan that the previous day / the day before had been a holiday.
v) I want a statue of me. (Change the Voice)
Ans: A statue of me is wanted by me.

vi) To do well in the exam is my aim. (Underline the Phrase in the sentence and state what kind of phrase it is)
